631 PointsStuck on looping through a string, and comparing the characters.
I'm trying to do the second part of this problem, but can't seem to correctly loop through the characters of the string, and compare them to each other. The code is supposed to take in a char called letter, and compare it to a string named tiles. Then through a loop, it's supposed to check if the letter is equal to a char in string tiles, then increment a counter showing how many times letter occurs in tiles.
I've tried solving this multiple times, and using my related code from the exercises, but I'm stumped. Would really appreciate some help.
