Java Web Development Techdegree Graduate 23,933 PointsYou have the field initializers backwards. Here's what you wrote:
public ForumPost(User author, String title, String description) {
author = this.author;
title = this.title;
description = this.description;
}
You want the reverse:
public ForumPost(User author, String title, String description) {
this.author = author;
this.title = title;
this.description = description;
}
this
references the object, so you want to initialize the fields of the object you're constructing to be the constructor's parameters.
Does that help?
