I am not sure why you are using a while loop for this challenge when all you need to use is a "for in" loop with an if conditional statement inside the loop to check each item if they equal "STOP". If they do, we break out of the loop. Here is the code I used to pass this challenge:
def loopy(items):
# Code goes here
for item in items:
if item == "STOP":
break
print(item)
