I am trying to do the media queries - the first one in the code challenge is to change the font-size for h1 for devices that are larger than 480 px. here is the code I use:
@media screen and (min-width: 480px;) { h1 { font-size: 2.5em; } }
when I hit check work it says "Bummer! Did you change the h1 font-size to 2.5em for devices larger than 480px?
I don't know how to fix this. Please let me know Marty

8,712 PointsRemove the semi-colon (;
) in your first line of media query. End result should be like this:
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
h1 {
font-size: 2.5em;
}
}

856 PointsTry looking at the code you've done right before it. A couple times I've added a semi-colon where it isn't needed (like your example above), other times I've forgotten it completely (whoops!), or I've accidentally interchanged a colon and semi-colon.

4,996 PointsThanks. Tried it but still got the same result. First typed it myself then tried by copying your text and pasting. Still got the same message.

6,504 PointsMarty, Are you putting your new code at the bottom of the page?
@media screen and ( min-width: 480px ) { h1 { font-size: 2.5em; } }
