OK! Make a new variable named subject that concatenates (uses the + sign) the string "Treehouse loves" and your name variable.
You've probably received an email or two with this subject already!
name = "Shashank"

Python Development Techdegree Graduate 24,728 PointsYou have passed the first task. Now in the second task, you need to create a new variable that is "Treehouse loves" plus your name:
name = "Shashank"
subject = "Treehouse loves " + name
Concatenation is when you add 2 things (usually strings) together using the plus sign.
Thanks,
Haider

10,365 PointsHi shivanand,
try this:
name = "Shashank"
subject = "Treehouse loves " + name
The + sign adds your name to the string and the result is stored inside the subject variable
Makes sense?
