Hi Keane,

for the second task you need to put just text inside the parenthesis, no string formatter (%s) like this

console.printf("Keane can code in Java!");

For the third question you will need to replace your name with the String formatter %s and add ",firstName" after your text

console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);

And let no space between printf and the round brackets. Some users reported errors if you do ...

Hope that helps
