If I were to start a business on a great idea, would it be best for me to go alone and build it up from there, or try to form a group to found the company together?
Thanks

13,564 PointsHey Evan!
Something like this is just personal preference. Would you like to make the company on your own and do everything by yourself? Or, would you rather have a helping hand and a team of people working on that idea?
You will also need to take into consideration how big the project is and how long it will take to create as this may influence your decision on whether you try to make it alone or with a team.
In addition to that, do you think you will be able to manage everything yourself? There is a lot to manage such as money, advertising, programming and more.
Have a great day!

11,194 PointsIt depends, if you are better working alone, do that. If you are better working in a group, then work in a group.

10,450 PointsI agree with Nick, it is all about what you are trying to achieve long term and also how you work best? Write a list of pros and cons out and that will usually determine your outcome. Just out of interested are you fishing for someone to start a project?

7,685 PointsIt really is more of a hypothetical question, so I'm not starting anything as of now. But thanks for the help!

7,369 PointsI would also add that if your doing it because you love it and want to start it and manage it, you will get , lets say 100% of the revenue .
As above is said, it depends also what project you are doing , what business.
You can start alone in your bedroom like most people do i guess and then with time , get people in , even if you started it now, we could work on it together , you started it in your bedroom thogh but you are now expanding it.
But consider a bit of trust and well , you don't want anyone to steal your idea or anything like that .
I hope this helps too, most of it is covered above anyways
