I was curious to what it meant about Facebook when I read
"HTML was not originally designed for 2:13 complex web applications like Facebook or Twitter. 2:17 Rather, it evolved to serve that purpose. 2:19 And, it's only recently that HTML has 2:21 implemented features to serve these more interactive environments. 2:25 As we continue to learn more, you'll find that 2:28 web languages are just as flexible as they are powerful."

6,384 PointsHTML was not, when it was first designed, made to run complex web based applications like facebook. Facebook has a ton of interactive parts (like, comment, unsubscribe, post, play video, etc.) and HTML wasn't really made for that kind of thing
