2,644 PointsSquared function challenge task
I'm not sure why my code isn't working. I could whatever help someone could give me. I've try this challenge over and over and nothing seems to work.
def squared(num):
try :
i = int(num)
return i*i
except ValueError :
return (i+i)
# EXAMPLES
# squared(5) would return 25
# squared("2") would return 4
# squared("tim") would return "timtimtim"

41,120 PointsTake a look at the third of their examples:
# squared("tim") would return "timtimtim"
Your code would return "timtim" for this example. You need to return strings multiplied by their length, rather than simply concatenate the string with itself once, regardless of length.
