What other libraries and software do people recommend (is Adobe Audition useful in sound creation/editing as I have that) for creating/finding sound effects?

Treehouse Guest TeacherThere are a lot of places to find great SFX. I haven't used Audition much, but I know other sound designers who love it. Unity is a popular dev engine that has a full store of user submitted sound assets. I've even known some game designers who buy old SFX CDs on eBay. If you're interesting in creating you're own sounds, try setting up a mic and using your own voice, or whatever else you find laying around. For our last game, Don't Eat People, I recorded a stampede sound effect using a toy train whistle, and tapping my fingers on my desk. If you're interested in foley sounds, I would highly recommend the Apogee ONE audio interface. It's a great piece of hardware for the price!

37,259 PointsI've been using Unity for years ;) So I had been thinking of seeing what's new on the asset store anyway.
