882 PointsSometimes there are frustrating, big spikes in the difficulty of code challenges
You really should be able to see the correct code of a challenge after trying so many times.
Seeing it done is also a way of understanding how it was done.

6,709 PointsI agree with this sometimes for sure, when I was doing some of the python courses I would be stuck on challenges for days! But all I had to do was ask the community or Kenneth Love for help and I would have plenty of help from the community and teacher. Everyone learns differently so maybe read some documentation, youtube some videos that might help you understand better. Find what works for you

Courses Plus Student 110 PointsI'm also very frustrated after just joining less than four days ago. I'm doing the front web development track and was doing well till I got to the first challenge! It's not explain at all… I'm answering all the questions correctly, but with this first challenge I am clueless as to what they want me to do. Also, my text editor that is on the side of the videos is totally different than the one Nick is using in the videos. He does say in the video that it might be different, but the one I'm using has no tabs at the top! I put five hours into work yesterday and lost everything when I went to review what we were building in the video… HTML. The editor show me that I did the coding correctly, but when I tried to switchback there was not a button to get back to my work, so it closed me out of the whole website. I'm very very frustrated with all of it. I call tech support yesterday and they were very friendly and try to offer a few suggestions, but I was told to come here. I've posted here once before and only received one hello from the gentlemen below or above… Dalton. I'm trying to understand how the community works. So if I sit down to work for four hours and I run into a problem, it could take hours or days for someone to respond from the community? I've heard great things on YouTube about the community, so I am hoping that I will get some feedback and a better understanding how everything works. I have so many questions. I signed up on the pro level, but I'm now thinking about giving out before my seven day trial is up. I am now going to look into other possibilities of learning how to design websites. It's very frustrating trying to explain problems when you're brand-new to something that you don't understand yet. Anyway, I would love to get some feedback from the community if possible. Thank you all for your time.
