Some of these earlier modules are pretty basic. Having a way to "Test out"would be nice.

Yes, that would have been nice for sure. You can however just click the exercises individually and do them without going through the vids and tbh the vids now mark as complete the moment you click on them (there used to be a bug where if you interrupted the video it would stay incomplete and there was nothing you could do about it. Drove me quite mad) so for beginner stuff within a new course that I'm taking I just click the first video and then use the forward/back arrows located at the upper right hand spot next to the video to skip forward until I hit the exercise, blast through it, then forward till the next exercise, etc...

Granted, that's a wee bit time consuming compared to what you mean and I agree, there should be some sort of test out option that may have a larger project that involves everything from that course. Perhaps a "test out" button where it'll present you a list of all the lessons in that module, right? Each has a selection box next to it that you could tick. You check a box next to all the lessons that you feel that you can test out of and it will present you an all inclusive quiz and then a custom task that incorporates all of that stuff but with minimal guided instruction like they provide in the incremental tasks during the course/stage. If you pass that, it autocompletes all the course material up to the point of the last course you checked in the first selection screen.

Yes. That would be nice.
