Java Java Objects (Retired) Harnessing the Power of Objects Methods and Constants

Some Help please

This is the prompt to task 3 or 3. : Finally, let's add a method named charge. It should be public and return nothing. When called it should set mBarsCount to the value of the constant you declared in Task 1.

Here is what i have so far:

public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_GOKART =8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;
  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }
}

[MOD: added ```java formatting -cf]

OK - add a public method named charge that returns nothing:

public void charge(){

}

Then set mBarsCount to equal the constant (public final static void MAX_GOKART = 8) inside.

public void charge(){
  mBarsCount = MAX_GOKART;
}

I hope that helps !

Steve.
