SOLUTION: Portfolio page template not showing

When editing the portfolio page on my wordpress site, I was not able to see the Portfolio page option in the Template drop-down box under the Page attributes section. As seen herehere

To fix this, I corrected my spelling mistake in

/*
  Template Name: Portfolio Page
*/

in page-portfolio.php. And it worked! I hope this helps someone.
