Hi, Shouldn't the nav link hover color have been just nav a:hover{color:#32673f;}? Because here we don't add the class selected in the html. So I kept adding the a:hover separately till I added the whole code including the nav a .selected, and the rest when it went through. Thanks.

Treehouse Guest TeacherHello GURUPRASAD,
You are correct. This can be accomplished with the following.
nav a:hover {
color:#32673f;
}
I hope this helps.

7,853 PointsHey Justin, thanks for your reply. Yes, I did that thinking that would be enough, but kept getting the error message till I wrote in the whole code (including the 'selected' bit), which it accepted.
