I can't figure out how to take a logo, remove the background (color), and create a png (with transparent background). If someone could explain the steps that would be awesome!

8,328 PointsIf you have a raster image, I would recommend opening in Photoshop, create a new layer, and make sure it is the bottom layer. If there is any fill color, select and delete it. On the layer with your logo, select and delete the background. Then you can "save for web" from Photoshop to create the png.
If you are using a vector image, it will depend more on what kind of colors and/or shapes you have. If that is the case, perhaps you could post a link to your image so I have a better idea what you're working with.
