Shouldn't this be right

The code compiler says this : Make sure your isFullyCharged method is checking for equality between barCount and MAX_BARS. Though I'm sure I've done that.

// Here is the error
 public boolean isFullyCharged (){
    if (barCount = MAX_BARS){
      return true;
    }  else {
      return false;
    }

  }

```GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;
  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }
  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }
  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }
  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
   if (barCount == 0) {
    return true;
  } else {
    return false;
   }
  }
  public boolean isFullyCharged (){
    if (barCount = MAX_BARS){
      return true;
    }  else {
      return false;
    }
  }
}
Hi there,
You just have a little tinny mistake. You used only one equal sign in the comparison (It happens a lot, just be more careful hehehe)
 public boolean isFullyCharged (){
    if (barCount == MAX_BARS){
      return true;
    }  else {
      return false;
    }
  }
