Should we attempt this project on our own before watching the following videos?

Title says it all. Are we meant to / would it be better to first attempt to complete this project before continuing on? Do the next few videos show us how to do the project?

You didn't mention or link to the course, so it's not clear what the remaining videos might show. But it seems likely that they would have a sample solution.

But in any case, if you feel up to the task and have enough information, why not try it on your own first?
