Should I uninstall MAMP Pro? Started MAMP - warning .."concurrent use of both programs can lead to unexpected results.

The video instructed it's no problem that MAMP PRO gets installed along with MAMP, just use MAMP. However, when I started MAMP a warning dialog box appeared that sounds like I should uninstall MAMP PRO if I'm not going to use it.

The warning stated MP is installed and that it's recommended to only administer the server via MP because concurrent use of both programs can lead to unexpected results. Below that it has the option to Launch either MAMP or MAMP PRO.

Hi Karen,

MAMP Pro is usually a paid program, MAMP regular is the free version. If it allows you to delete the pro version without any problems I would, but from my knowledge it has never prompt that message for me.
