Java

Should I switch tracks?

Should i switch tracks if I am finding Java uninteresting at the moment? If so, is C# a good choice to switch to for a bit?

This question depends on your goals. If you are wanting to stay with back-end programming, an easier track to start with would be python. If you are not opposed to starting with front-end programming you might try learning JavaScript.

If you want some more basic understanding that will help you better understand Java I recommend Treehouse's course on digital literacy and development tools. Some in particular that really helped me better understand software development are:

Console Foundations Course: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/console-foundations

Git Basics Course: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/git-basics

The rest of the Development Tools courses: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/topic:development-tools

Here are the Digital Literacy Courses: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/topic:digital-literacy

Thanks, Ronald!
