5,797 PointsShould I be taking Front End Performance Optimization if I haven't taken the SVG prerequisite course?
I noticed that it says "SVG Basics" is a prerequisite for the Front End Performance Optimization course in the Developer track, however, this course was never covered in the Developer track. Does this mean I should go back and take the SVG Basics course separately before starting this course?
I don't understand why this course would be added to the Developer track if it has a prerequisite that was never covered in the Developer track. That makes no sense to me!
Thoughts? Advice? Thanks in advance.

20,485 PointsThat might be a mistake. While I would think SVG is covered in the Front End Optimization course, it is certainly not the primary topic. I would say go ahead with the Front End Optimization. If they cover SVGs and you don't understand something, head over to SVG Basics.
I often learn out of order because certain courses interest me more than others. And when I come across something I don't understand, I just go back and review.
Hope that help!

5,797 PointsBrandon Barrette, for us beginners, it can be a bit daunting to see a course marked "intermediate" with a prerequisite course that was never part of the Developer Track. And why would SVG basics be listed as a prerequisite if it isn't covered very much in the course? Just confusing to me. Anyway, I guess it is what it is. I'm going to do just what you said...thanks for the advice! :)
