Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 84,738 PointsShould I abandon this and just wait for the new course to come out?
I arrived at this course through the PHP track, but there are some things out of date and I'm having a hard time navigating. I also noticed that there is another SQL course in the works that says it's arrive November 2015.
Is that new course going to replace this one in the track?

23,118 PointsIt looks like they are reworking their approach to databases. Treehouse has/is creating a database track, if you look under library you'll notice a that databases is an option unlike before. I believe what they are doing here is integrating workspaces, updating for best practices, and making it a more enjoyable learning experience. If you already have the programming skills using a backend language and you need to know MySQL, I'd say go for it, but I doubt Treehouse would just update an entire track just because. Check it out, if it works awesome, if not a new course is coming next month.

Courses Plus Student 9,711 PointsOk great! The current MySQL workbench GUI looks nothing like the one on the original course. I'll keep moving forward until the new version comes out.
