Setting margins to elements so they fit on the baseline grid requires some clarification.

Setting margins to elements so they fit on the baseline grid requires some clarification. Looks like it all depends on the layout and order in which elements appear?

An H1 followed by an H3 followed by a paragraph

seems to require other margins applied than let's say:

An H1 followed by an image followed by a paragraph

And what about responsive images where the height can vary due to scaling?
