set color of paragraphs

the first quiz, after 2 videos is set color of paragraph to black? I have tried several variations comes back bummer double check that you've styled paragraph elements. I have gone back over the videos several times and nowhere does Nick go into styled paragraph element. On the quiz you cant toggle over to html.index and that is the only place I see where there is <p> elements. I know I am missing something but just can't see it. thanks in advance. sondra

HTML:

<p>paragraph text, background in black hex color</p>

CSS:

p {
background-color: #000000; 
}

If you want to color the text only its color:#000000; instead. Or color:black; if you've not learned hex colors yet. Hope this helps.
