Could you tell me please why we assigned it to False what will happen after when we do True instead?

Treehouse Moderator 68,454 PointsNot sure which video you are referring to. One way to see why a particular default value is chosen is to review the code to find what conditions are needed to flip from the default value. Also check to see where matched
is used in a conditional statement.
