Select the links inside the nav element and set their font weight to 800. Then, set padding on the top and bottom to 15

The tasks asks you to select the link elements inside the nav element, the li tag represents list-item elements, not link elements. Links are represented by the a (anchor) tag. This is a pretty common mistake to make since li could also easily be seen as an abbreviation for link.

Anyway if you create a new selector that actually targets the links within nav "nav a" and then put your font-weight and padding rules inside of that then you will be able to pass the task.

Target the links in the nav. nav a { font-weight: 800; padding: 15px 0;}
