11,057 Pointsseeking best skill set for remote, nomad style, part time work
Greetings!
I am looking build a skillset to suit my lifestyle plans. I am open to exploring all options --be it mindless database/sql work to development-html/css or android apps, whatever etc--and pursuing whatever will give me the flexibility that I seek. I am seeking what I think would be hourly/freelance/temp format work that I can do remotely on my own schedule. Would anyone have any suggestions on which niches and technical abilities would afford me these kind of opportunities and what the corresponding skillset would be that I would need to build to give me some legitmacy?
I've gone through all 6 'language skills' on CodeAcademy. I am on TreeHouse because it seems more focused on helping you build a more robust portfolio and skill set to take things to the next level. I am pondering Techdegree but haven't found the right curriculum path advice to would really help me pull the trigger and start buckling down with confidence.
Thanks.
