Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 28,975 PointsSeeking a web design student interested in collaborating on some portfolio-worthy projects!
This is a post that is a bit out of the ordinary. I am an aspiring PHP back-end developer interested in creating dynamic web apps. I have a lot of familiarity with CSS and Bootstrap, but I don't have an artistic bone in my body. I like to focus on function rather than form. At the same time, I enjoy working with others rather than alone, and I think it would be cool to collaborate with someone with a very different skill set to create some cool things that both of us can show to potential employers and clients (while giving the other full credit for their role, of course).
If you are a student of web design and you're interested in working with a student of software development to create some cool (and potentially useful) apps and you have experience with, or are willing to learn, to use Git and Github, reply to this message and we can connect on social media (Twitter or something) and find out if we would be a good fit. I have several project ideas, but I am also looking for the ideas of others too.

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 28,975 PointsHey Sammy. I am always on the lookout for people interested in collaborative work where different skillsets come together. I have finished all the PHP tracks and I am about to start the Fullstack JS techdegree, but I would still be willing to collaborate on a project. As my post says, my programming skills are very adequate but I dont have a single artistic bone in my body so many of my ideas are hard to produce without someone with a complimentary skillset. If you want to discuss some project ideas maybe we could link up on Twitter or some other social media platform? Let me know!

UX Design Techdegree Graduate 16,070 PointsI am a UX Design Techdegree graduate (as of last week). I would love to add some projects to my portfolio. I have a rudimentary knowledge of how to use Github. I did the web design track, so I understand how it goes, but it didnβt really make me more artistic and creative. I think it would be great if we could get another person who is truly creative and artistic though. Iβm more about how to put together a site or app so it is really useable. If you are the general contractor, then I am the architect. We still might need an interior designer though. π

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 28,975 PointsHey Lia, first of all, congrats on finishing the Techdegree! Second of all, I don't think you need to be really artistic per se, just have the ability to envision an attractive, and usable design. I have a basic (and quickly growing) understanding of software design and how to build out a back-end so that the app actually does what it is supposed to do, but my front-end designs look only a little better than a toddler's drawings. As for Github, your ability with it only needs to be basic. If we worked together, we would just be using it as a central repo.
