I've noticed that when the instructor is resizing their screen there is a small measuring device in the bottom right hand corner that is showing the pixel width of the screen. Where can I acquire this awesome technology?

7,804 PointsI am not sure exactly which one they are using but I do know a couple ways to check the dimensions of a page. If you are using chrome there is a pretty cool extension called page ruler which you can get at http://blarg.co.uk/tools/page-ruler. You could also use the developer tools in chrome or firefox to inspect individual elements. Hope I was able to help! =D
