Did you try it with everything else you already wrote? It should look like this:
class Person < ActiveRecord::Base
scope :hamptons, -> {where(first_name: "Hampton")}
end
I just tried that myself, and it worked.

iirc, if you change the where to:
where(first_name: "Hampton")
It will pass.
