I'm not sure what's wrong in my task 2 answer that's making it say that
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
if (barCount == 0) {
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
if (barCount == MAX_BARS) {
return "Is fully charged!";
}
}
}
}

14,957 PointsJust a few observations:
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
if (barCount == MAX_BARS) {
return "Is fully charged!";
}
}
The method says "public boolean..." - meaning you would return either true or false. You're returning a string.
In this method:
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
if (barCount == 0) {
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
It looks like your missing an "}"
Also instead of if/else you could just write:
return barCount == 0;
So - in total:
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return barCount == MAX_BARS;
}
