Hi, I've just finished the Ruby on rails course and I'm keen to keep some momentum going. What does everyone suggest is a logical progression for after Rails courses. Ideally something that could be used with Rails/Ruby to add new features but still practice the basic concepts I just learned.
I've read React.js goes well with Ruby.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Courses Plus Student 27,336 PointsI recommend making projects, With this, you'll learn many new things Javascript with ruby and much more don't worry about making a project that's to ambitious as the more the better and try to learn a lot more of the libraries and get use to connecting to API's in ruby as the don't teach it in the Ruby on Rails tracks. You can try learn mailers in ruby and for instance make a messaging app to learn about AJAX with ruby for live reloading. So in conclusion make as many projects and on the way you'll find that you'll gain much more knowledge and will have to learn things like AJAX and yes React. I hope this helps with your JOURNEY! To add more to rails you should probably also use lots of libraries and learn API calls in ruby etc.
