Ruby Course

Hello,

I am a total newbie in programming. I am only looking to learn Ruby at this point. However, I only see the Ruby course here at Treehouse teaching IOs, stribgs, variables, and functions and it stops there. What happened to arrays, hashes and etc.? How do I continue learning Ruby beyond the bare minimum provided by the Ruby course here? It seems to me that the Ruby course is extremely basic and it does not keep the newbie structured to move forward in learning other concepts in Ruby. Please let me know if I am wrong or tell me what I have missed seeing on this site. Thank you! Joe

Hey Joe,

Treehouse does have a Learn Ruby Track and a Rails Development Track. Both are a bit dated, but still provide useful information for learning Ruby and Rails.

Treehouse did release a couple of updated Ruby courses, but I see now that there is nothing more on the schedule for the next couple months. Honestly, I'm not sure where they stand with Ruby courses for the future.

Sorry I couldn't be more help, but you could also try sending a note to the Support Team and they will forward your question to the appropriate peoples.
