Reverse is happening with what is shown in video.

If I use first break point min-width 480 px and use #gallery li width 28.3333 % as shown in video, my site is always showing 3 column layout irrespective of the size of the window. But if i shift #gallery li width 28.3333 % to min-width 660px I am getting the desired result. Where did I mess up?
