i cannot understand where i made mistake
var iceCream = ["CC": "Chocolate Chip", "AP" : "Apple Pie", "PB" : "Peanut Butter"]
iceCream.updateValue("Rocky Road", forKey: "RR")
iceCream ["AP"] = nil
let applePie = "Apple Pie"

You're on the right track, you're setting the applePie
constant to the right value, but you have to do it using the dictionary. Next to that, you don't have to set the value for AP
in the dictionary to nil
. You could do something like this:
let applePie = iceCream["AP"]
to set applePie
to the value of the AP
key in the dictionary.
