Reset rotation of an object?

HI! I have rotated several objects and now I want to reset them back to the default upright position. Is there any simple way of doing this?

It seems it is much more difficult than it seems...

Hey Sergio,

Presuming these are the most recent actions you've took, the simplest way to reset an object you've manipulated back to how it originally was is to simply use the undo action.

The keyboard shortcut for this action on a mac is cmd + z & on a pc is crtl +z.

Or you can select edit > undo rotate.

Otherwise if somewhere later down in your work you realize you want to reset the positions to where you originally had them, you would have the original coordinates and angles of each object you created.

You can find these coordinates & angles underneath the "transform" dropdown menu towards the top-right corner of the control window.

Best,

James

Summary of James' answer (as an answer instead of a comment):

  • Cmd/Ctrl + Z for undo is easiest if you just finished rotating the objects.
  • Otherwise you'd have to know the original angles to rotate things back.
