Treehouse TeacherHi there! This really comes down to spacing. You've chosen to put spaces between the sets of brackets such as $contacts[0] ['name']
instead of $contacts[0]['name']
. I believe this would be perfectly fine outside the challenge (if not a little non-standard practice), but the challenge really doesn't like it.
But you also have another spacing error. In each line, you have one space before the colon, but no space after the colon. The original formatting of the output had a space on either side.
So if I rewrite those lines in this format...
// this was yours
echo "<li>".$contacts[0] ['name']." :". $contacts[0] ['email']."</li>\n";
// this is mine
echo "<li>".$contacts[0]['name']." : ". $contacts[0]['email']."</li>\n";
... then your code passes!
Hope this helps!
