remove not working

how to remove list in list element?

lists.py 
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue'])

Ok, then i noticed :)

Before remove 5 element in the list. After remove colors :)
