5,673 PointsWhich menu function in particular? Where is the menu registered? In the parent theme's functions.php? Please post a link to that functions.php file or post its code here.
To remove the function you need to unregister the menu function in the child theme's functions.php, but I can not help you on exactly how, without knowing the code you are working with
