Hi, When starting a business, don't you need to register the name of the company and its logo? The website title? To avoid any legal issues in the future.
How do you go about these? And what works for what? As to you need a Copyright or a Trademark on your website name, aka your brand?

Treehouse Guest TeacherHey, Ethan Parker! Have you tried out our Copyright Basics course? It'll probably answer a number of questions you have. http://teamtreehouse.com/library/copyright-basics
As far as trademarks go, one size doesn't fit all. The trademark process can be long and a bit complicated, and whether you need one or not, and for what, is going to depend on your specific circumstances. Definitely consult a lawyer for questions about trademarking your business name and logo.
