Regex in react-router

We learn to use the exact prop to make sure our routes only hit the url when it matches exactly. I see that you can also use regex ("/" -> "^/$") which is similar to djano/express routing.

What is the best practice from SPA's using react?

I haven't looked at any style guides, but using the exact prop is easier to read and clearer about what the code does.
