5,293 PointsAre you using Android Studio? If so try to build the project or clean the project. You will find these options under Build menu and File menu. Also i think that you are using the wrong emulator. For example, when you executed the app for the first time you assigned the app the emulator id. When you went back and build the project again, you created another instance of the emulator. You edited changes and rebuilt but nothing happened because Android Studio thinks the emulator id is the original instance of the emulator. This can be verified by looking at the lower left portion of the screen in Android Studio it shows the current emulator status. If it says offline and you have an open emulator, then that is the culprit. Select the component and then choose the other emulator in the list that is online. If neither is working, restart Android Studio.
