1,509 PointsReformat code and multiple line comments unable to work
I'm on windows (surface pro 4, 64-bit) and for some reason, I cannot reformat code or add comments to multiple lines at once. I used Ctrl + L, Ctrl + Alt + L, and all possible tries from jetbrains. Can someone please redirect me? Maybe starting from task 1 to 2 would help.
The task is..
"Okay, so first, let's have our IDE do the hard work for us. Can you have it reformat the code now? When you are done, click "Check Work". We will upload it here in a bit."
import java.util.*;
public class Messy {
public static void main(String[] args){
System.out.println("five");System.out.println("one");
System.out.println("six");
System.out.println( "four" ); System.out.println("two");
Please comment out this line and
this line as well with a hotkey that does multi-line commenting
List<String> numberWords = Arrays.asList("six", "seven", "eight", "nine");
for (String numberWord: numberWords) {
// Use the sout shortcut to write out numberWord;
}
}}

if you are using intellij,
cntl /
will do the trick. Just highlight the lines you want to comment out, and then press ctrl followed by /
if this answers your question, please mark question as answered.
