Recommendations for my Next Ruby App.

Hi Guys

I am looking for following recommendation

a) Books / Tools : I wanted to know what books do you refer to or tools do you use for your planning and architecture design for your App.

b) Experience : Have you build an Rails app and in the middle of the project realized and wished if you had followed a different methodology.

c) Compatibility : The app to start with will be web version but moving forward iOS, Andrioid app will be developed as fast as possible, any recommendation on what I should do from the very start so that my future needs can be taken care of.
