Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Raise an Exception

I'm loosing it, what's wrong here, can some one help me please and thank you!

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    return product_idea + "inator"

    suggest = input("name")
    if len product_idea < "inator":
        raise ValueError("Too Short!")

There's a few issues here:

  • the return must be the last thing done in a function
  • since the product_idea is passed in as the argument, you don't need to input anything
  • since len is a function, it must be followed by parentheses (with the argument inside them)
  • len() will return a number value, so you will want to compare it with a number
