Raise an Exception challenge

I'm sure I'm missing something a little more nuanced. I think I have the right idea, but I need to put it all together.

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
       if len(product_idea) < 3
            raise ValueError("Not enough characters")
            return product_idea + "inator"

Yes, you're very close, but I see two little issues:

The "return" should not be part of the "if" block, as it needs to happen when the condition is not true. So basically that's just an indentation issue.

Also, the "if" statement should have a colon (:) at the end of the line.

I got it about an hour after I posted it and it was the most amazing feeling :D But still, thank you for your response. Hopefully others can benefit from my mistakes!
