41,120 PointsThe hex value for black is 000, so the solution is simply:
p {
color: #000;
}

65,469 PointsThe challenge is asking you to select the h1
and h2
tags which you did well. To select an element by tag name in CSS, you just need the tag name as the selector, and you are allowed to have commas between them to tell CSS you want to select multiple things. Inside the body of the h1, h2
rule, you should set the color of all h1
and h2
tags to black.
The challenge is asking you to use the hexadecimal value of white. The hexadecimal value of white is #ffffff which means "pure red, pure green, pure blue" and if you combine all the colors you get white. You can also use the shorthand #fff which is the same as #ffffff.
Solution:
h1, h2 {
color: #fff;
}
I hope this helps

65,469 PointsYou shouldn't post code that doesn't pass...

41,120 PointsThe post made reference to styling paragraph elements, so I assumed this meant part 2 of challenge, which my code does pass.
