Question about the linking

When typing "<link rel=..." is "stylesheet" what follows everytime? or does this vary? And what does it depend on? Just wondering. Thank you!

The relationship type depends on what kind of external resource is being linked. The "stylesheet" relationship type is only for CSS documents. Other types would include things like "font" and "icon".

There are actually quite a few choices. For more details, see the MDN page on Link types.
