What am i missing?
Challenge Task 1 of 2 In the library database there's a books table. There are id, title, author, genre and first_published columns.
Count all the books in each genre. Include the genre column first and the genre_count as the second column of information.
SELECT genre, COUNT(genre) AS genre_count FROM books GROUP BY genre;
i am displaying the genre, counting each one and grouping them.....would be great if we could see the feedback on these tests so we could correct ourselves...

Treehouse TeacherHi there, lucas morrow ! You're super close. You should be counting all rows and getting the genre. Remember, you could have items that never had a genre assigned. So instead of COUNT(genre)
you will need COUNT(*)
.
Hope this helps!
