Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Conditional Value

Q2

Hey, what's the problem with my code?

conditions.py
admitted = none
if age >= 13:
    admitted = True
else:
    admitted = False

1 Answer

Your if/else statement is correct, but somehow the first line of the solution (which you are not really meant to touch) has gotten messed up. The "admitted" variable is meant to hold the value "None" not "none" (note the capitalization difference).

If you change it back to "None" like this:

admitted = None
if age >= 13:
    admitted = True
else:
    admitted = False

Then your code will pass the challenge.
